How beautiful is the word "self-centered"—to be truly "established in the self." I take it…
Sita Ram

Let us, for a moment, consider Ram and Sita as normal human beings, not as Gods. The first conflict in Ram’s life was family politics over property and wealth. He chose to let it go.
Don’t you think his analytical mind might have told him, “I need to secure my future, what about my rights as the eldest brother?” Normally, people would call such a person impractical or even foolish for giving up all of his wealth and property.
Later, Ram decided to fight Ravan, the most powerful king of his time, with the help of ‘monkeys’. Assuming we don’t already know the end of the story, again, people would call such a person a fool. And yet, in the end, Ram became the most beloved king, winning the hearts of his family, friends, and even rivals.
The second half of the story depicts Sita’s individuality. After being released from Ravan’s prison, questions were raised about her character. She made the bold decision to leave her husband Ram’s home willingly. At that time, she was pregnant, with no money, no clue where she would end up.
Don’t you think her analytical mind might have told her “Where will I go? What about my rights? How will I survive? Yet, she just left the palace. After years of struggle, raising her two children single-handedly, she eventually reunited with her husband, Ram. And again, her character was questioned. At that moment, Sita made another courageous decision – to separate from Ram forever.
We all have the courage to follow our hearts, but the real problem is that we don’t know what we want! The root of The problem is uncertainty. The whole thing is confusion – this way or that. What if…? The inner conflict is real for us. Even Arjuna, in the company of Krishna his entire life, found himself paralyzed by doubt on the battlefield, what to talk about us?
Certainly comes when we are more connected to our inner selves. It is a lifetime effort to cultivate this awareness. Meditation is not just helpful but essential in this journey. On this path, we might find ourselves alone many times, but it is an amazing experience, how eventually so-called wrongs turn into rights every single time.
