The Greater Mystery

What the galaxies are made of,
What lies beneath the sea—
It’s lovely to see,
But it does not take me.

For me, more beautiful
Is knowing what’s within.
Each time I learn a little,
It opens me like the sky—
Endless, silent, full of wonder,
And makes me ask: Who am I?

There is no end to it,
Nothing more fascinating to me.
God—so wild, so beautifully mad—
To shape this mysterious body and mind.

I long to know myself,
And help those walking this path—
This, the quiet purpose
That moves my heart at last.

The Weight of Stillness
Desires make life beautiful,
Challenges keep us engaged—
Imagine a life
With nothing to achieve,
Nowhere to go…
Could I hold
That much silence?

Just a Drop
Life is so vast—we can’t even think.
Creatures in the forest, creatures in the ocean,
Each one crafted in a different color combination.
God is creating—moment by moment—
But what is on His mind?

Some live in the darkest cave, beyond imagination.
Some in heat we can’t even survive.
Planets float silently in the sky…
Why is He creating?
Who is watching them?

He needs no praise, no recognition.
And in this stillness, I realize—
The knowledge I have
Is just a drop of the ocean.
